The Ladies Auxiliary Post #2621 hosts three Community children's parties each year.
A sign up sheet is posted at the VFW approximately 1 month before each event.

Parties include a variety of activities including Dancing, Games, Lunch, Door Prizes, Special guests and crafts
The parties are hosted for Halloween, Christmas, and Easter each year.
Volunteers are always needed and welcomed!
Cost: $1.00 per person + 1 can good per person, We will be donating to a food bank.

Voice of Democracy
2009-2010 Theme is "Does America Still have Heroes?"
Voice of Democracy is open to students in grades 9-12. To enter, students will record their original 3-5 minute essay on a CD and submit it along with a typed copy of the essay and a completed entry form.

Patriot's Pen
2009-2010 Theme is
"When is the Right Time to Honor Our Military Heroes?"
Patriot's Pen is open to 6th-8th grade students. Students must write their own essay and submit a typewritten copy along with a completed entry form. Essays are to be 300-400 words in length.

Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest
Open to Students in grades 9-12. There is no "Theme" provided. Just use your imagination to express your patriotism through your art. Deadline is March 31, 2010
